- If what you mean by "wings" are the metal rods extending from the horiz-
- ontal support boom, the answer is theoritica;;y no. these rods are
- resonant antenna elements, and electromagnetic physics theory determine
- their length. But, if you're close to the TV transmitter, you could
- reduce the length and get weaker reception. If you're close, you won't
- notice the weaker reception. The lower channels will be the ones affected.
- Like Ch 2,3,4. Just be symmetrical in your trimming.
