Speaking as an ex-program director of Top-40 stations for many years...

They are getting JUST what they set out to do, get as many people talking
about "Whats going on?" as they can before they go live with the NEW product.
In this case they are currently carting music and changing formats and all
computer programs to reflect the new sound. My hats off to whoever talked a
GM of a top 8 market station to pull something this outragous!

Keep in mind that "as long as they are talking about you" it doesn't matter
if it's good or bad, a very large amount of the people that have been informed
of this promo, will indeed sample the new product and judge for themselves.
