- I discovered a defect in my two-month-old Avia 2070 running shoes: the
- midsole rubber was separating from the outsole heel, decreasing the
- stability and support. I took them back to Phidippides in Encino,
- where I bought them *two months ago*, and they exchanged them for a
- new pair (of another model, the 2050). The store owner said they'd
- ship them back to Avia and try to get credit.
-
- I think this is exemplary on the part of a retail store, and want to
- point out that I've always been very happy with the service and
- support at Phidippides (that may be spelled Phaedippides :-)).
-
- I do not work for them or have any financial interest in propagating
- this information, just want to let anyone in the area know about them.
