- ML> well hey that's good... It's a shame there isn't a Star Trek area on
- ML> K-12..... oh well... so what do you think of this new 2 part one
- ML> going now? My brother thinks that the Cardassian makeup is the best
- ML> in the show.... I can't see that the Cardassians are really a threat
- ML> to the Federation.

- Well, maybe not in K-12, but there are several other Star Trek echos. I'm
- also in the TREK conference. But anyway, with chain of command, I think that
- it was very over-rated. Sure, Patrick Stewart put on a great acting job,
- but I think that the story was really lacking what it could have. But you're
- right about the Cardassians, they MAY not be a threat. Considering in an
- episode that the USS Phoenix took out about 5 Cardassian ships alone, it
- shouldn't be that hard, but the thing is that the Phoenix did that because
- the captain believed that the Cardassians were shipping new weapons. So
- we really don't know.
