  14. Working evironment:
  15.     - OS : System V R 4    (Olivetti rel 2.1.1)
  16.     - gcc: 2.3.3
  17.     - gdb: 4.7

  19. So far I haven't been able to build gdb to work on the system mentionned. I  
  20. tried since gcc 2.1 and gdb 4.5 with most releases. The last attempt was with  
  21. the tools above.

  23. Symptom:

  25. Compilation and installation of gdb is no problem. Launching gdb works as well.  
  26. I can navigate in the sources of the program to be debugged and set  
  27. breakpoints. When I type 'r' to run start the program my machine freezes or  
  28. just reboots.

  30. Has anyone an Idea?
