  10. I believe my problem is that the termcap entries do not include any
  11. specification of region scrolling.  Somehow I need to fix that (but
  12. this is going to be difficult because I am a mere user, not the sysadmin,
  13. on this machine, and UNIX seems to be designed to be customized only by
  14. sysadmins).  I've scrounged /etc/termcap for any suitable alternates, but
  15. none are to be found.  Eventually I hope to hack together a way to create
  16. my own termcaps and somehow get those to be used in lieu of /etc/termcap.

  18. IN THE MEAN TIME, is there any work around in GNU EMACS to force it to do
  19. region scrolling ANYWAY, despite the termcap being in error?  This is the
  20. substantial problem I have right now.
