  17. I've also experienced this in early attempts at getting a decent
  18. interlaced resolution on my display. For me the secret lay in the last
  19. two values in the timings line in Xconfig. For some reason changing
  20. those values by increments of one or two finally got rid of the problem
  21. you mention.

  23. Can someone with more knowledge about timings explain what is happening
  24. here?
