- Hi,
-
- In brief:
- Need help from anyone who has successfully compiled X11R5 on a DECstation
- 5000/200 running ultrix 4.3 (using gcc 2.3.2).
-
- In detail:
- I'm trying to compile X11R5 under ultrix 4.3 on a DECstation 5000/200 using
- gcc 2.3.2. Everything compiles OK but I have problems when trying to run the
- server. When I start up xdm (and Xdec) the login window's fonts are
- backward. When I log in, everything is still backwards (fonts, windows,
- etc.) but twm does start. When I move a window, the outline is sideways
- and moves opposite directions from the mouse movements (I can't see the
- mouse but it is there).
-
- If I can get someone's config files that would help also.
-
- Any help would be appreciated. Please e-mail and I will post and get
- it in the ultrix-FAQ if needed.
-
- Thanks in advance,
- Tom Ogata
