- Hi,
-
- I recently got R5 and going through the XDrawArc man, i found it different
- (is it a mistake?) from the R4 manual ( From "The X Window System",
- X11R4, Robert Scheifler & James Gettys, Second Edition).
-
- Here are the parts of XDrawArc that differ..
-
- [The R5 online manpage..]
- For an arc specified as
- [ x, y, width, height, angle1, angle2], the origin of the
- major and minor axes is at [x+width, y+height], and the
- infinitely thin path describing the entire circle or ellipse
- intersects the horizontal axis at [x, y+height] and
- [x+width, y+height] and intersects the vertical axis at
- [x+width, y] and [x+width, y+height].
-
- [The description in the Schefler/Gettys book.. X11R4]
- For an arc specified as
- [ x, y, width, height, angle1, angle2], the origin of the
- major and minor axes is at [x+width/2, y+height/2], and the
- ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
- infinitely thin path describing the entire circle or ellipse
- intersects the horizontal axis at [x, y+height/2] and
- ^^^^^^^^^^^^^
- [x+width, y+height/2] and intersects the vertical axis at
- ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
- [x+width/2, y] and [x+width/2, y+height].
- ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
-
-
- Is there a mistake in the R5 man pages?
