- Hello managers,
-
- I've been happily using olvwm 3.1 (Open Look Virtual Desktop Manager)
- for a long time. (Never felt any need to upgrade to rel. 3.2).
-
- Suddenly, I'vw been urged to upgrade everything to an Italian environment
- (LC_LOCAL ,and all that stuff . . .).
-
- As Rel 3.3 was available I passed through 3.2 and then to Rel. 3.3.
-
- Everything went OK apart for a *VERY* annoying problem: (Existed in rel 3.2,too)
-
- Whenever I press ctrl-c in a shelltool lauched from rootmenu, it exits and
- "hangs" any pending process running in the former shelltool to init.
-
- That is furthermore annoying as when a new shelltool is started, it resumes the
- process that was running before, with umpredictable results !
-
- Note that if the shelltool is launched from the rootmenu without the usual
- "exec" word in front of it, the problem disappears.
-
- I know, that is already a solution but:
-
- a) I don't want to spoil one extra process for every shelltool;
-
- b) It worked till yesterday in olvwm 3.1;
-
- I would much appreciate any answer and of course, I will summarize.
-
- Thanks in advance.
