- Is there a patch to enable file completion to work with a command
- tool?
-
- My experience is that cmdtool completion is ugly but it does work. The command
- line is not properly redrawn, but a ^R will clean things up. In the following,
- the typed characters were "echo hv<ESC>^R<RET>", the longest unambiguous match
- was "hvmail", and this was echoed:
-
- wy-reb 106% echo hvmailecho hvmail
- echo hvmail
- hvmail
-
- Is this cosmetic effect what the man page refers to in its bug section? It
- this the problem everyone is complaining about?
