  17. I got a problem after upgrading to Ultrix 4.3, the ln0356 software from
  18. gatekeeper doesn't run with it.

  20. I tried to do what the ln0356 readme says, I entered ln03rof in place
  21. of ln03rcomm into printcap.

  23. The effect was, I got a listing of the PostScript code on the printer.

  25. After checking out why, I found that most modules in the lps_v3_ln03r.a
  26. library start with %% instead of %!, which causes ln03rof to treat them
  27. as ascii data if they occur first.
  28. So I changed the lib modules to all start with %! and hoped that would
  29. work. But now, after a while of busy-blinking at the printer, nothing came
  30. out of it.

  32. I analyzed the output that is sent to the printer and found it to end
  33. suddenly somewhere before the real end. Now I don't know how to change
  34. this behaviour into some useful one.

  36. Is there a 4.3 stable ln03rcomm available ??

  38. Or at least a chance to have ln03rof running with the LPS libs ?
