  21. I can't help you with load estimation, but you will probably want
  22. a line controller that keeps interrupt load low, i.e. more than
  23. one character per interrupt.

  31. I can help you with a pointer for Sun lines. Aurora in Waltham, MA,
  32. sells a 8 line SBus card with modem control on all ports, and the
  33. SBox, a four slot extender chassis. You can put up to 4 SBus cards
  34. in this box, and you can daisy-chain another box to it. (Dual SBox).
  35. Aurora's 16 line card does not have modem control on all 16 lines,
  36. but on only 8.

  38. With the Dual SBox and an SS10 without a framebuffer you can go
  39. up to 4*2*4 == 32 cards, or 512 lines. I would recommend staying
  40. below that ;-)
