- I can't help you with load estimation, but you will probably want
- a line controller that keeps interrupt load low, i.e. more than
- one character per interrupt.

- I can help you with a pointer for Sun lines. Aurora in Waltham, MA,
- sells a 8 line SBus card with modem control on all ports, and the
- SBox, a four slot extender chassis. You can put up to 4 SBus cards
- in this box, and you can daisy-chain another box to it. (Dual SBox).
- Aurora's 16 line card does not have modem control on all 16 lines,
- but on only 8.
-
- With the Dual SBox and an SS10 without a framebuffer you can go
- up to 4*2*4 == 32 cards, or 512 lines. I would recommend staying
- below that ;-)
-
- Here are the prices:
-
- 800S $995
- SBox $2195
- Dual SBox $3995
-
- Aurora can be reached at:
-
- Aurora Technologies, Inc.
- 176 Second Avenue
- Waltham, MA 02154
-
- Tel (617) 290-4800
- FAX (617) 290-4844
