  11. Our User Group runs a multi-line Bulletin Board System here in Philly
  12. using SCO Xenix/386 as the operating system. So far, we have tried two
  13. different types of BBS software on this system. Neither has been truly
  14. satisfactory. They are Caucus and Magpie.

  16. Caucus is really fine electronic conferencing software but doesn't cut
  17. it when tried as general purpose messaging software.

  19. Magpie has some nice features (I like the tree oriented message base)
  20. but the learning (or un-learning) curve is pretty steep.

  22. Right now, I'm looking for the names and manufacturers/sources of
  23. messaging software for a general purpose BBS. If you manage a Unix/Xenix
  24. BBS please let me know what you are using and what you like/dislike
  25. about it.
