- harddiskless workstations yes.

- we've started unloading harddrives from out workstations, in an effort to
- maintain some control on what gets backed up, since our users don't tend
- to do their own.

- loading the command interpreter off floppy every time it's needed (after
- exiting wordperfect, for example) is a bit slow. since we map a drive
- to a network directory with all of dos in it, we may as well point COMSPEC
- at it. the novell manuals even give a standard method of doing this.
