  14. I recently downloaded xlisp 2.1e from glia.biostr.washington.edu and it compiled
  15. without a hitch. The only change I needed to make was to:
  16.         1) redefine CC in the makesysv file. (they used the sun sysv compiler na
  17.    me)
  18.         2) replace some spaces with a tab in the action lines of the makesysv ma
  19.    ke

  26. I installed the HDFD drive and rom upgrade in my macII (and added four 4 meg sim
  27.    ms).
  28. I have a DayStar 40 MHZ accelerator card with cache.

  30. If I turn on the cache, my mac will die within 40 minutes. ( Macsbug says bad
  31. read and its never the same place.) With the cache card turned off my mac will
  32. run forever.

  34. This is the second Daystar card. They are pointing the finger at the ROM upgrade

  40. I don't understand why it is taking so long to croak when the cache (on the
  41. accelerator) is turned on.
