- I've been having loads of trouble (i.e., memory faults, segmentation
- errors, random hangs) porting gnu Make v 3.62. Has anyone else tried
- this port? I'm getting close to giving up.
-
- BTW - I'm trying this because I have makefiles from another platform
- which use the $(VAR1$(VAR2)) construct, which the standard make on
- A/UX 3.0 doesn't like -- yeah, it has some nice alternatives, but the
- other platform doesn't understand those... So I figured I'd settle
- on Gnu as my standard makefile format. So far, no luck. Anyone have
- any suggestions, beside changing my makefiles to use the least-common
- denominator of all makefile formats?
