  10. I've got a Zoom Faxmodem and am trying to find out if there's anyone
  11. attempting to use such a modem for both dial-up access and FAX (either
  12. inbound/outbound or both).

  14. One problem that I'm experiencing (I beleive with the SAF manager) is that
  15. the saf monitor goes deaf when I attempt to use the FAX part of the modem
  16. on another machine.  Currently, my FAX software is on a PC.  I switch the
  17. cable between the unix box and the PC, and when I'm done FAXing, and switch
  18. back, the dial-in access is dead.  I've looked into the modem configuration,
  19. and that doesn't seem to be the problem.  I've even tried disabling the
  20. service monitor prior to switching and then reenabling it once its connected
  21. back to the Amiga.  At this point, I'm not sure what I can do to reestablish
  22. the service monitor to the modem after using the FAX.
