- As postmaster of my own site, I've received a number of very polite
- replies thanking "MAILER-DAEMON" for the message about bounced mail,
- as if they believed it was a person. I've also gotten a couple of
- messages to root complaining about that rude guy, "MAILER-DAEMON"
- reading his mail and worse, not fixing the address and passing it on.
- (I remember one of the addresses involved; it had so many !'s, %'s,
- and @'s in it it was hopeless. And I never did figure out why it
- arrived at my site in the first place.)
