  19. As postmaster of my own site, I've received a number of very polite
  20. replies thanking "MAILER-DAEMON" for the message about bounced mail,
  21. as if they believed it was a person.  I've also gotten a couple of
  22. messages to root complaining about that rude guy, "MAILER-DAEMON"
  23. reading his mail and worse, not fixing the address and passing it on.
  24. (I remember one of the addresses involved; it had so many !'s, %'s,
  25. and @'s in it it was hopeless.  And I never did figure out why it
  26. arrived at my site in the first place.)
