  13. My LaTeX does count blank lines...  All editors I know will let me ``goto''
  14. a certain line number...

  16. As regarding the error.  U have to work Ur way back from that line...
  17. Generally, its almost surely a missing curly bracket 
  18.     or a missing \end{} command...
