  14. i've read or heard or seen somewhere or whatever about a set of macros to generate list of symbols (much in the same way as \tableofcontents) of course with automatic sorting and all sorts of bells and whistles. In fact i wouldn't be the least bit surprised if it will feed the cat while i'm on vacation too.

  16. I have been looking around in a couple of archives for this, but to no avail. and the question is simple:
