- Hello...
-
- I've run into problems trying to get a Toshiba 1.2GB (formatted)
- drive to work with Solaris 2.1 on an LX. I heard that Solaris 2.1
- may have added some preformance boosts like using tag queuing, stuff
- that 4.1.x was not doing, so drives that work with 4.1.x may not
- work with Solaris 2.1.
-
- I'd like to put together a list (which will ofcourse be summerized
- and posted back here) of third party drives that DO work with Solaris
- 2.1. If you have definite knowledge of a Solaris 2.1 configuration
- running on a third party SCSI drive, please e-mail me with the
- exact model of the drive. No need to tell me about working Sun
- disks, as they [I should hope] will obviously work with Solaris 2.1.
-
- I am especially interested in 3.5", ~1.2GB (formatted) drives, but
- I'll summerize all the data that comes in.
-
- AdvThanks,
-
