  22. Yes, you can plug it in, but it won't work unless you get some extra
  23. software.  Support for SMD disk drives is NOT standard in SunOS for
  24. the 600MP.

  26. The Sun Consulting group sells a product which supports 7053 SMD
  27. controllers and Xylogics 472 tape controllers on 600MP's.  Sorry,
  28. I don't have details on how to contact them or how much it costs.

  30. Our Sun sales rep tells us that 451 and 7053 disk controllers are
  31. supported in Solaris 2.1, but I haven't seen it with my own eyes.
