- /etc/gettydefs is a Sys V.x beast and is used to control serial line
- behavior. BSD derivatives do not have this file but typically use /etc/ttys
- or, on the SUN, /etc/ttytab.

- Anyway, gettydefs is a pretty good example of how System V systems
- management, though different from BSD, is generally superior - aka easier.
