- The following message has been received periodically, but steadily, on
- Sun Sparc 2 workstations connected on a thinlan network. A thinMAU box
- is used to interface thinlan network via the AUI port. The message is
- not received on HP workstations on the same network.
-
- le0: Receive: giant packet for ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff
- le0: Receive: STP in rmd cleared
-
- Question: Does anyone know how to interpret this message or why the Suns
- are sensitive to it? Networking seems to work fine other
- than these console messages !
-
- Thank you
