  20. Actually, there are at least two Mac-em products available on
  21. workstations:

  23. Quorum has/will have two products out on SGI platforms:
  24.     A development environment, that, from what I understand,
  25.     allows you to compile and link a Mac app and run it on
  26.     a workstation with a look-n-feel that matches the
  27.     workstation's env.

  29.     A full-blown emulator that also has the matching look-n-feel.

  31. Liken is a Mac-emulator from Xcellerated Systems (?) that works 
  32. on several platforms (Sun, HP, and soon IBM).  It got a good review
  33. in Open Systems Today a few months ago.  B&W only (but color RSN), 6.0.7
  34. (but 7.0 RSN) and reasonable performance.  I called Liken and asked
  35. if they were doing an SGI port and a sales guy said they were thinking
  36. about it.  He also said it's only going to take 4 months for the
  37. IBM port, so if they decide to, it won't be too far away.

  39. Liken has sold many copies, and so far has avoided Apple's wrath.
