  13. While programming an application for a Novell LAN, I have run into an 
  14. interesting problem.  What I wish to do is create a multiple-server (or 
  15. internetwork) application in which critical files (shared) are held on 
  16. one singular server.  These critical files are also (if possible) going 
  17. to be "trusteed" to a specific "USER" to which my application will log on 
  18. as a separate entity.  The trip of the whole situation is:
  19.  
  20. 1.  It appears that each server can only be connected to once from each
  21.     workstation.  ie, JOE cannot be connected to server ONE at the same
  22.     time as MOE from the same workstation.  However, eight different 
  23.     servers can be attached (and logged into) by each workstation.

  25.     My question is:

  27.     If a workstation can have entirely different servers mapped into
  28.     the IPX shell, why can't entirely different user/passwords be
  29.     mapped onto the same server?  Can it be done?  Do I know what I am
  30.     talking about?

  32. 2.  If a user is on its "preferred" server (or, the one they logged onto) 
  33.     and an attach call is made (via API services) in order to enter 
  34.     another server - the *second* server can be attached onto *seven*
  35.     times!  Each with a different user name!

  37.     My question is:

  39.     I want to do this all on ONE SINGLE SERVER, if necessary.  Can I?
