- We're running 311 on a 486 with a pair of 200M IDE drives (a Maxtor
- and a Western Digital). We've only been up about 4 weeks now.
- The Maxtor has had 7 blocks redirected, and the WD 1. This strikes
- me as strange, as I thought that IDE drives did internal
- read-after-write and redirection, transparent to the drive-user.
- Any comments?
-
- Could this possibly be related to a "lost hardware interrupt"
- problem that we still haven't managed to resolve?
-
- Thanks,
-
