  14. We're running 311 on a 486 with a pair of 200M IDE drives (a Maxtor
  15. and a Western Digital).  We've only been up about 4 weeks now.
  16. The Maxtor has had 7 blocks redirected, and the WD 1.  This strikes
  17. me as strange, as I thought that IDE drives did internal
  18. read-after-write and redirection, transparent to the drive-user.
  19. Any comments?

  21. Could this possibly be related to a "lost hardware interrupt"
  22. problem that we still haven't managed to resolve?
