- In my experience the "Unusable Font" message is a result of incorrectly (or
- inconsistently) set permissions and ownerships on the font files and
- directories in /LocalLibrary/Fonts. Check the directories there corresponding
- to the fonts you're having trouble with, and see if all the files have
- world read permission. I don't remember off the top of my head what the
- correct ownership and permissions of the font files, but you could check the
- standard ones (e.g. Times, Ohlfs, in /NextLibrary/Fonts) and try to match
- those permissions.
