  14. I want to edit files OCR'd to a Mac on my Next,
  15. and then transfer them back to the Mac because 
  16. there's an analysis app unavailable for Next.
  17.  
  18. These files happen to be in Italian (many accented
  19. characters). Saving on Next to RTF, text, WP 4.2, etc.
  20. will not retain these characters when I carry the 
  21. disk over to the Mac (they are not and cannot be 
  22. connected on a network here).

  24. Someone suggested unix command tr, and gave me the 
  25. syntax, but tr seems to do absolutely nothing when I
  26. invoke it. I have to control C. And I talking 
  27. about 4k test files.

  29. WHAT can I do? Don't want to use Executor.
