- Inside Mac II-211 gives the following layout for an 800k disk:
-
- Tracks Sectors/Trk
- 0-15 12
- 16-31 11
- 32-47 10
- 48-63 9
- 64-79 8
-
- 1) Does anyone know the equivalent table for a 1440k disk?
- 2) I assume the mac doesn't use an interleaving scheme... right?
- 3) Any ideas on the rpm of the drive for each sector/Trk combination?
-
- Also, if there is a unix guru reading this as well, how
- might one best set up a 'disktab' entry for this --
- kinda tricky with variable rpm and sectors/trk...
