- I agree that piracy is one of the things that made personal computers as
- popular as they are. Almost every _person_ I know who bought a machine for
- themselves busted their bank on the machine and ran on pirated software
- until they could afford to buy their software. I personally have used many
- pirated programs in order to evaluate them before buying. It's how I got
- to know so much about the machine and the software.

- PCs sell because you can pirate when you need to. Getting the work done is
- the number one priority, isn't it? ;)

- Of course, I must point out that piracy is not a valid long term solution,
- for all the obvious reasons. You don't buy, we don't write. Piracy as a
- full-time policy is a self defeating proposition. You've got to buy so
- that the market works.
