- Call Microsoft in Redmond, Washington and ask them for the Word 5.0 file
- format
- documentation. At my last job I wrote word processor file translators all
- day
- and every company that produced a word processor was willing to give us
- documentation on their file formats. You can get the RTF documentation from
- them also.
-
- You may end up having to talk to the product manager of a given
- application.
- In the case of Word, there are different managers for different platforms.
- Be
- sure to ask for the Word for Macintosh product manager if you are directed
- to
- a manager.
