- Does not the recommended DeskTop rebuild procedure accomplish what
- you have mentioned above? Hold down Option-Command keys will starting
- computer. Keep them down until you are asked to verify that you want the
- DeskTop rebuilt.

- Then take a look again using ResEdit to determine if those old resources
- are gone - I think they will be.
