  12. This is no doubt not Mac specific but it's certainly "misc..."

  14. I'm looking for some Techie/Engineering type(s) to comment on whether tying 
  15. three (or so) overhand knots in the power cord(s) of electronic devices 
  16. (computers etc) offers any significant protection from line surges.

  18. I'm not sure what to think after having been brow beaten for even bringing it 
  19. up... I'm almost afraid to express my personal opinion and eagerly await those 
  20. opinions from someone that's smarter than I. ;-)
