- This is no doubt not Mac specific but it's certainly "misc..."

- I'm looking for some Techie/Engineering type(s) to comment on whether tying
- three (or so) overhand knots in the power cord(s) of electronic devices
- (computers etc) offers any significant protection from line surges.
