- Strange, i thought the LC and the LCII had almost the same performance
- (MacUser Benchmarks). After all, the LCII has only one advantage, the
- ability of using VM, which is (IMHO) not that interesting for a slow machine.
- Despite the fact it has a 68030 inside it, the Data bus is only 16 bits wide,
- so the CPU should be as fast (or as slow :-)) as a 68020, given they have
- the same instruction set (if i remember correctly, 68030 = 68020 + MMU + 32
- bits data bus, and the assembly manual i had about the 680x0 family didn't
- distinguish between the instruction sets). Could you please give the
- configuration of these machines ?.
