- That's true; however, MacCompress *does* act the same way the Unix
- compress utility does, since "compress" and "uncompress" do what
- their names say they do, append or delete the .Z extension as
- appropriate, and hence in effect (and probably in actuality)
- delete the old files in the process of (un)compressing them.
- It seems very stable; I haven't lost a file yet (though it
