  11. Just to tell you I bought the Impulse portable PC.

  13. It is a rebranded version of the Twinhead PC (one of 3 Best Buy in
  14. PC World of sept. 92).  The good point: the street price of the
  15. Twinhead is US$2674, the price of the Impulse is CAN$1599.
  16. I presume the price is for a limited time.

  18. If you compare the US <-> CAN exchange rate price (about 20%),
  19. the prices are CAN$ 3200 -> 1600 in 3 monthes.

  21. They have the same chips (BTW, what is the difference between
  22. a 386 SLX/25 and a 386 SXL/25 ? ).  The only difference I see
  23. is that the Twinhead seems to have an internal modem which is
  24. a supplement (CAN$ 129) with Impulse.  Both have a 60 MB HD.

  26. A question: what price can I ask now for my previous 3-year portable?
  27. a Toshiba T1000 with a few keys not working, 8088/4.77 MHz and
  28. one 720k drive...
