  12. I was running MicroSoft Winodws based PROFWIN (a windows learning
  13. program) on my PC-386 with MS-DOS 5.0 and MS Windows 3.0 loaded.
  14. During the session, I got the error message window saying
  15.  
  16.              UNRECOVABLE APPLICATION ERROR
  17. and the computer would halt there until I reset it. Both my DOS and
  18. Windows manual says nothing about this error message and I do not have
  19. a manual for PROFWIN. If any of you knows the meaning of this error
  20. message, please advise me at xchen@caip.rutgers.edu.
