- My father has an AT&T 6300 PC (XT clone). He called NCR, who now handles
- service on those boxes, and asked if there was a BIOS upgrade he could
- get that would support high density floppies. They told him no, but couldn't
- give an explanation why.
-
- My first guess is that there is some limitation in the floppy disk
- controller, which is on the motherboard in that machine. Can anyone
- confirm or deny this? If that is not the problem, then is there someplace
- where we can get a BIOS that will work? Or maybe a public domain driver?
-
- Thanks for any help,
