  14. My father has an AT&T 6300 PC (XT clone).  He called NCR, who now handles
  15. service on those boxes, and asked if there was a BIOS upgrade he could
  16. get that would support high density floppies.  They told him no, but couldn't
  17. give an explanation why.

  19. My first guess is that there is some limitation in the floppy disk
  20. controller, which is on the motherboard in that machine.  Can anyone
  21. confirm or deny this?  If that is not the problem, then is there someplace
  22. where we can get a BIOS that will work?  Or maybe a public domain driver?
