- I am trying to find out whether or not there is an american motherboard
- manufacturer that produces a 486dx-50 with local bus slots.
- If so how does this fit in with the VESA standard that only allows for
- 33mhz clock speed? I read somewhere that 486-50dx motherboards would be
- capable of VLB if the bus speed was slowed down for those slots.
-
- Is this possible?
-
- One other question, Are either AMI, Mylex, or Micronics making 486-dx33
- (or 486dx-50) motherboards with more than one LB slot on them?
-
- Has anyone heard pricing on any of these?
-
- thanks for all replies.
