- Several people have posted words about the ATI Ultra Plus.
-
- I just got one today. This is an ISA Bus card. It is running in a Dell
- 310 20 MHz 386 machine with 8 megs of memory.
-
- It does speed up many things in Windows 3.1, especially scrolling.
-
- A further point, based on actual tests:
-
- It does support memory aperture. I'm running it right now. Works fine.
- I've programmed it in 24 bit color mode using the aperture. It is limited in
- the modes it runs with only 1 meg.
