- Howdy all. A friend of mine demands I fix her ancient IBM PC (the original,
- I believe, since I haven't actually seen it; AT at best), for which she has
- NO manuals (it was a "gift" from a user who moved up to a reasonable machine).
- When she starts the beast, it posts "Error 1700" and halts. I don't have
- a list of error codes, so please, what does this error denote?
