  12. I'm trying to add a 1.44 floppy to my dad's XT clone. I have seen ads
  13. for "super xt/at" floppy controllers that preport to allow this but do
  14. they require bios support? These clones (mitac mpc 160T's) do not have
  15. such support.

  17. Also they have an onboard floppy controller, I checked the manual but
  18. didn't find an easy way to disable it. What happens if there are two
  19. controllers?

  21. I tried to convince him to put in a new motherboard like I did, but he
  22. wants to spend less than $100 total.
