- Seagate screwed up big time with their ST-01/02 and disks. They are
- not a true SCSI implementation. The ST-01/02 controller may work with
- non-Seagate SCSI disks but in general it will not and it is not a
- supported configuration (this came directly from a Seagate tech
- support rep). I was also a little astounded to find out that some of
- the Seagate SCSI disks will not work with standard SCSI controllers!!!

- My advise would be to dump the Seagate drive/controller and get a real
- SCSI controller (like you plan on doing ) and a real SCSI disk...
