- Actually, Eveready (I think, some big battery manufacturer anyway)
- announced a 1.5V AA size lithium batteries about a month ago. I would
- presume that there's some funky chemistry going on inside the cell,
- different than that of "normal" lithium cells. They claim it lasts just as
- long as what we're used to in lithium, though.

- These cells were reviewed in Popular Photography a month or two ago.
- They seem to win over alkaline cells mostly at high current drains.
- For a calculator, they wouldn't be much of an improvement. I haven't
- heard of any being made in AAA size.

- They also announced that they're going to mass-market AAAA batteries,
- which'll be useful.

- AAAA cells are already available, just take apart a 9 volt alkaline
