  15.     Actually, Eveready (I think, some big battery manufacturer anyway)
  16.     announced a 1.5V AA size lithium batteries about a month ago.  I would
  17.     presume that there's some funky chemistry going on inside the cell,
  18.     different than that of "normal" lithium cells.  They claim it lasts just as
  19.     long as what we're used to in lithium, though.

  21. These cells were reviewed in Popular Photography a month or two ago.
  22. They seem to win over alkaline cells mostly at high current drains.
  23. For a calculator, they wouldn't be much of an improvement.  I haven't
  24. heard of any being made in AAA size.

  26.     They also announced that they're going to mass-market AAAA batteries,
  27.     which'll be useful.

  29. AAAA cells are already available, just take apart a 9 volt alkaline
  30. battery.
