  14. Actually, Eveready (I think, some big battery manufacturer anyway)
  15. announced a 1.5V AA size lithium batteries about a month ago.  I would
  16. presume that there's some funky chemistry going on inside the cell,
  17. different than that of "normal" lithium cells.  They claim it lasts just as
  18. long as what we're used to in lithium, though.

  20. They also announced that they're going to mass-market AAAA batteries,
  21. which'll be useful.
