- I have developed modifications to Conor Cahill's marvelous malloc debugging
- replacement which allows it to run in a VMS VAXCRTL replacement. I would like
- to submit these mods to Conor for inclusion with the package he submits to
- comp.sources.
-
- Part of these mods were creating a transfer vector source to allow building
- the RTL itself. In the fiche (I'll be truthful, I typed it in from there but
- we have it legally so this was ok, at least for us), this module is
- copyrighted by DEC.
-
- My question is: can I legally include the transfer vector, assuming I include
- the DEC copyright notice. I'm willing to entertain any reasonable requirements
- DEC may find it necessary to impose. Also, if I am violating DEC licensing
- policy or copyrights now, please let me know - my reading of the appropriate
- licenses/copyrights leads me to believe I am not.

-
- Please respond by Email and I will summarize the resultant opinion. Thanks.
