  14. After a little trial and error, I noted the following:

  16. The status line will dissappear using the previously mentioned settings
  17. if the Autodial function is used.  If I go straight into terminal mode
  18. from the main menu and manually type in the ATDT command, the status line
  19. remains on the top of the screen and does -not- dissappear.
