- If you are seeking for accuracy, use the CIA frequency calculators, CA1 or
- something like that. If you were using ToD, you had to poll some I/O line,
- monitor ToD and calculate the frequencies in your program. The time would be
- measured in 0,1 seconds. But the little agents in the CIA can do most of the
- work themselves, and the comparation frequency is the system clock frequency,
- which is always the same independent of the AC frequency.

- The 9 VAC is needed for ToD, for +12 VDC (VIC and SID Vdd and audio output
- amplifier transistor), for unregulated +9 VDC and for "CAN +5", supposedly
- some kind of +5 VDC only for the VIC. You should provide these voltages
- somehow. I think that the ToD frequency is not necessary, it could be tied to
- ground or +5 V, but these other signals might be needed, even if you don't need
- picture or sound.
